I came in to Upper Cervical Chiropractic of Spartanburg 6 months ago, basically a walking wreck. I am 70 years old with significant arthritis and many injuries from years as a professional horse trainer. I rode multiple horses a day and my job was often to deal with problem horses. I’ve had them fall with me, flip over with me and toss me headfirst into a solid wall. Dr Baker determined that I had sustained repeated upper cervical trauma. Ive been going to various chiropractors for 15 years to try to help with problems for my hip,back and neck. The pain would subside for a short time but never really stop. After getting x-rays Dr. Baker was able to point to the cause of most of my issues. I had never received this service from a chiropractor and it felt empowering to have the knowledge to move forward. It also was validating to know why I’ve been hurting so bad. It’s been a little under two months and honestly I feel like I’m getting my body back to how I felt 20 years ago. This has given me hope that I can reclaim the physical nature of my life.

Upper Cervical of Spartanburg has been a great experience. I've known about my problems due to the pain and stiffness, and have "maintained" for years-I'm a very active 60 year old guy. They gave a very comprehensive evaluation-I have more than a few issues- and the plan that was chosen has helped me live a much better-quality life without dealing with the pains of "maintaining." I'm about four-five months into the process and I continue to notice how my range of motion and overall lack of pain is improving. Once a critic of chiropractic care, I know this form of care is invaluable to me and my lifestyle.

I absolutely love this place. The staff and doctors are truly amazing. I thank God for allowing me to find them because if I didn’t, I would be facing another surgery. They found a problem and correct it instead of sending you directly to have surgery -- that’s one of the things that I love. I wished I would have found them before having three back surgeries. They are all such sweet spirits and I thank God for them.

Just wanted to say how grateful I am to have a good chiropractor. I watch so many people with physical struggles that would be remedied by a chiropractor. My stamina and strength have improved tremendously as has my sleep and general physical comfort. Hiked into the Grand Canyon this year!
